Got our new "December" truck! This is much more professional. I think my students will appreciate the extra room, not to mention Maxx does!
2000 F250 8 Cyl 7.3L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel 4x4 short bed Crew Cab. Lariat leather interior with wood package. Two tone paint with double tow package and bed liner. Not to mention this truck can SCOOT! Richard calls it my Bubba Truck. Rick calls it the Cowboy Cadillac. You decide for yourself. I just call it "Perfect for the Job"
PS it is much bigger than it looks. It is too tall to fit in the garage and I actually need the chrome running board just to get in!

Its a dogs life! Foggy Saturday morning with Widget heading to the barn to do his favorite thing in the whole world, bark at the chickens and roll in something undesirable! Hooray!
Then its back to the house for a game of tug-o-war and some breakfast. (or should I say some of Max's breakfast)
and a nap. ZZZZzzzzzzz
August 25th
My Christmas Present! We have yet to name him, but have narrowed it down to Sprinkles, Sparkles, Tucker or Mudge. (but now Widget is really starting to stick) He is a 12 week old Long Coat Chihuahua weighing in at a whopping 1lb14oz! Is he not a doll baby!
He and Maxx are buddies. Maxx met him, cleaned him from head to toe and now....

The barn is well on its way! Solene stayed cool in the horse trough (it was HOT outside!) and Rick made fun of the "view", as Richard and I put up the braces. At least this time no one fell off the roof!

Memorial Day Weekend.
Spent Saturday and Sunday on the lake with friends then had Trudy, Kevin, Jobie, Sean, Lynn, Sarge and the kids over Monday for a BBQ.
Call out the troops, its an old fashioned barn raising!!!!

Entered Guinness in his first class ever. We got 3rd in English Horse
Halter (there was only 3 in the class but a hunter judge who was watching
pulled me aside after the class and said I was robbed!)
- - - now if I could just get the little turkey to shed out that awful fuzzy
brown winter coat!!!
I found this little horse for my friend Karen who was having trouble finding a good all around horse for her son, they call him Ashes.
Angel is a bit too boney for riding bareback.
